Our Goals and MIssion
We strive is to be a place that welcomes all people. We seek to help all people in their faith
journey no matter where they are on that pathway or where they end up going. Or
goal is to love, help, and heal one another as together we grow in
Christ's image. We embrace the Mission of the United Methodist Church: "To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."
Sunday Service 10:30 AM
Our worship service is a traditional style of liturgy that follows the liturgical year common to many Protestant churches – Advent to Christmas, Epiphany, Lent to Easter to Pentecost, and Ordinary Time in between the seasons. If you are acquainted with this calendar from your upbringing in the Protestant, Anglican/Episcopal or Roman Catholic faith you will find familiarity here. Music comes from a Chancel Choir, Praise Band and other special offerings and we have organ, piano and other instrumental music that may vary from week to week.
We dress fairly casually, however a jacket and tie or dress is not out of place. Neither are shorts and sneakers, slacks, jeans. Whatever you have on for your after church or pre-church plans, feel free to come as you are.
In fact, feel free to come as you are in all ways. New to town, long term resident look for a church home, youth, college age, middle aged, single, married, with or without children or partners/spouses. All are welcome. Come worship with us any Sunday morning at 10:30.
